Over the last 12 years’ I have had the privilege of witnessing 500+ weddings. I’ve seen how wedding planning can sometimes be overwhelming for brides and grooms, from pre-wedding preparations to the big day itself, it’s easy to feel the strain of organising such an important event.
The good news? Sometimes all you need is a few genius hacks to help streamline the process! keep reading for my top hacks every bride & groom needs to know before the big day.
Create a Wedding Website
Creating your own wedding website for your big day is a pretty genius hack. Wedding websites allow you to communicate with all of your guests easily, organise wedding tasks and reduce the environmental impact of your wedding by using paperless invitations too.
Ask Your Guests for Song Requests
If you ask them to send through a song request via your wedding website before the big day. You’ll then have a list of crowd-pleasing tracks to pass on to your DJ or band and ensure everyone is making shapes on that dance floor.
Break in Your Shoes
Your amazing shoes will look great but can be seriously painful without the right preparation. Take some time to break them in before the big day. You can try wearing them around the house or stretch them with socks to make them comfier. rubbing some sandpaper on the base of your shoes to prevent slippage is also a good idea
Prepare an Emergency Wedding Kit
This will be your best friend on your big day and contains anything that you or your guests might need.
They contain a variety a of things such as white nail polish (in case you scuff your beautiful shoes) blister plasters, a small sewing kit etc
Over the years I’ve seen how they have really helped, so I normally have a small emergency bag with me too.
